Birdsong School of Music

We believe music enriches the lives of the participants as well as the listeners.  Our aim is to equip YOU to play while having FUN!  We are located in Camden, TN on the banks of the beautiful Tennessee river and Kentucky Lake.  Our area is known for it's scenic areas, Nathan Bedford Forest State Park, Natchez Trace State Park, outdoor recreation, fishing and hunting.  We are on the historic Music Highway between Nashville and Memphis TN, just 16 miles of I40.

Our Business

We offer quality music instruction in a relaxed environment.  You may learn to read music, play an instrument by ear and by music.  Our standards are high being affiliated with the London College of Music and the Irish Harp College.  We also encourage adult students who wish to play purely for their own enjoyment!

Who We Are

Sheila Mitchell Hart has been teaching and performing for over 30 years.  She teaches harp, both classical and celtic, with a specialty of Irish harp music, also piano, mountain dulcimer, psaltery and theory.
