Welcome to the Birdsong School of Music.  We are dedicated to quality music education for people of all ages.  We believe that everyone's life can be enriched by participating in music.  Music is a language that is spoken, read and written.  Our goal is to make this language accessible to all who wish to use it.

What We Do

Sheila Mitchell Hart, founder of the Birdsong School of Music, has over 30 years experience in music education and performance.  She along with a qualified staff of teachers are there to provide instruction on a variety of instruments, voice, drama and theory.  The school is an authorized representative for the London College of Music and the Irish Harp College.  Studies of  many music genres are possible.  Classical, Folk, Christian, Celtic, Jazz and Improvisation are but a few along with Theory.  Students may also participated in standardized music exams which may be used for college portfolios.
